Dr. Rashida Davis
“Helping you heal the wounds that have shaped how you see yourself, experience GOD, and connect with others.”
Dr. Rashida Davis is a licensed psychologist, founder of Heal To Hear Counseling and Training, and a passionate advocate for the integration of faith, psychology, and trauma-informed care.
She works especially well with clients who have spent years being strong for everyone else while quietly carrying anxiety, relational hurt, grief, disappointment, spiritual questions, or the weight of major life transitions. Many of her clients are functioning on the outside but recognize that something deeper needs attention on the inside.
Dr. Davis believes healing is about more than understanding what happened to you. It is about understanding how those experiences have shaped the way you see yourself, relate to others, and experience GOD, which leads to learning how to move forward differently.
Her approach is collaborative, compassionate, and trauma-informed. Through her work in Trauma-Informed Spiritual Intervention, Dr. Davis helps clients explore the intersection of emotional wounds, faith, relationships, and life experiences in a way that honors both their psychological and spiritual selves.
A central part of her work is relational reconciliation: helping clients recognize how past experiences influence present relationships, develop healthier boundaries and communication patterns, and determine what restoration, repair, or release may look like in their lives.
Dr. Davis also has experience working with clients navigating chronic illness, grief, perinatal and motherhood-related concerns, spiritual and religious concerns, and significant life transitions.
Whether you are navigating motherhood, recovering from relational hurt, wrestling with faith after painful experiences, grieving a loss, living with chronic illness, or simply recognizing that the way you've been doing life is no longer working, Dr. Davis offers a space where you can slow down, tell the truth, and begin healing from the inside out.
Her goal is not simply to help clients feel better, but to help them become more emotionally, relationally, and spiritually whole.
